Complete Set $570.00. Miniature Porcelain Collector Set cast in foundry bronze and based on a museum quality antique porcelain. This stunning piece took over five months of development and consists of six individual components with a custom base. Available in both individual components and numbered sets in limited Edition of 50 pieces. The individual pieces will be offered after the numbered sets are completed. Randall's description: "Sometimes when I am sitting out back late at night, enjoying a fire, the Raccoons come out and they don't see me sitting by the fire. This piece captures the moment they realize I am sitting there and they have this surprised look. I sculpted these two by the edge of the water as the mom teaches the younger how to fish. The combination of the grays and blue colors make a very attractive piece."

#212 UN-SCARED CROW

Limited edition: 75 signed and numbered pieces Hand, carved, hand cast foundry bronze, hand painted in oils. 2013 Figurine features two children a boy and a girl, in the process of setting up a scarecrow. However, they are not very successful as a crow has already landed on the arm of the scarecrow and does not seem too worried. This is a cute piece with good interaction with all the characters. The boy is seen placing a hat on the head of the scarecrow and the girl is wondering why the scarecrow isn't so scary after all.

As a kid growing up the artist says he always remembered the myth and legend of the mysterious piper who helped the town of Hamelin. For those who don't know the story a synopsis follows: In 1284 while the town of Hamelin, Germany was suffering from a rat infestation a man in pied clothing appeared claiming to be a rat catcher. He promised the mayor a solution for their problem with the rats. The mayor in turn promised to pay him for the removal of the rats. The man accepted and played a musical pipe to lure the rats with a song into the Weser River where all but one drowned. In the miniature version the Pied Piper is seen leading six rats out of the town. One sits on top of the sign pointing the way to Hamelin.

The micro figurine features a "Little Mother" and her dolls in a cradle. There are three dolls in the cradle and two lying beside the cradle. A very intricate piece for a figurine so small.

$65.00. A fun outdoor snow scene piece featuring a boy and a girl pushing a teddy bear in a truck. The girl is pointing the way through the show while the boy is pushing the truck. "Snow Patrol" has great detail and action in this small size bronze collectible. Details: Cast in Foundry Bronze. Hand-painted in oils. Limited Edition of 75 signed and numbered pieces.

$150.00. Height 7/8 inch. Issue 2007. Edition Size Numbered Limited Edition of no more than 200 pieces. Hand cast bronze, hand painted. Great original art work from the artist, Randall Zadar's, imagination. The figurine features two busy mice planting flowers in a pot. The other characters are watching the action, including a bee, a butterfly, a beetle and an ant hiding in the back. A very cute piece! This is an extremely difficult piece to mold and cast due to the space in between the pots!!

#37 ALPINE BOY 

$85.00. Height 3/4 inch. Issued 1998. Retired 2001. Limited Edition 134 signed, non numbered pieces. Hand cast in bronze, hand painted. This is a Bavarian boy similar to Pinocchio that Randall carved to debut during the Bavarian Festival in 1998 at Pinocchio's in Frankenmuth, MI. This piece was also issued in the Classic White variation. In 1999 Alpine Girl was released making a pair of figurines.

#47 MAGNIFIER 

 

    

$75.00. Height 3/8 inch. Issued 2000 Society. Retired 2000. Limited Edition of 103 pieces. Hand cast bronze, hand patina. This sculpture was the gift given to collectors who joined the charter year of the Zadar Studios Collectors Society. The piece was titled First Kiss and features a fully carved man and lady embraced in a kiss on the front of the magnifier. On the back of the piece in raised, fully carved letters the collectors society is announced. The cost to join the society was $25.00.

#49 TIPS PLEASE 

 

    

$95.00. Height 1 inch. Issued 2000. Hand cast bronze, hand painted. This was the third piece designed for the Bavarian Festival held in Frankenmuth, MI. The first two pieces were Alpine Girl and Alpine Boy. Tips Please is a storytelling piece featuring a boy playing the accordion and singing for tips as indicated by the sign. From the three coins already in the hat it appears the trio of the boy, his cat and bird are being quite successful.

#50CW MOTHER & FIRSTBORN in CLASSIC WHITE 

    

$75.00. Height: 3/4 inch. Hand carved, cast and hand painted solid bronze figurine. The classic white version of the figurine Mother and Firstborn. Features a mother and her newborn child in the cradle. Randall has actually achieved emotion in the mother's face. It is as if she has rushed in to tend to her child, knelt down to comfort the baby and her love is shown on her face. She must have been in a rush as she didn't take time to put her slippers on as her bare feet are showing from beneath her gown in the back!! As always all the Zadar work is highly detailed both front and back and a detail such as the bare feet, fully carved, is not left out. The original piece painted in pink, now retired, was released following the birth of the Zadar's first child. This piece is painted in the classic white tradition with white and gold trim.

Produced exclusively for the International Gift and Collectible Show held in Rosemont, IL in 2003. The shows logo roses are featured on the plate. The plate has a stand incorporated into the mold.

All the while he is enjoying some of his favorite wine. He accidentally spills some wine and a fish below is eager for a taste. Behind the frog a mouse has been sampling the wine and now having sample too much is feeling tipsy!!

This figurine was inspired by the touching story of the rescue of the horse named Velvet. A Zadar collector, Julie Davis, sent Randall the story about this horse that was published in the Equestrian magazine. Randall was so touched by this that he decided to capture this horse in miniature. The figurine features soft coloration and a porcelain look.
